Why this site exists
The "make money writing" corner of the internet has a specific failure mode. It is not that the advice is wrong exactly — it is that the numbers are always missing. Articles explain that you can earn royalties without saying that Amazon pays roughly 60 days after month end. They recommend Kindle Unlimited without explaining that the per-page rate changes every month and that a single book is close to a dead end.
The result is that people start with expectations calibrated to a fantasy and quit at the exact point where the work was about to compound. Every guide here attaches the actual mechanics: the royalty bands, the payment lag, the realistic per-word rates, and the timelines. Where a number moves or is not publicly fixed, we say so rather than inventing precision.
How the site is funded

There are no ads, no sponsored posts and no paid placements. The site earns when a reader buys a product we recommend through a tracked link. That creates an obvious incentive problem, so we bind ourselves to four rules:
- Every review lists who should not buy. A recommendation without a disqualifying case is an advertisement.
- We do not fabricate experience. If we have not personally used a product, the review says so and is written as an assessment of what the product demonstrably is, not as a first-person income story.
- No invented testimonials, screenshots or earnings claims. Ever. The fake-screenshot economy is the reason this niche has no credibility, and we would rather convert less.
- Affiliate links are marked. They carry a sponsored attribute and appear below a visible disclosure, as the FTC's endorsement guidance requires.
What we recommend, and why only one thing

How the guides are researched
Platform mechanics — royalty rates, disclosure requirements, upload limits, payment schedules — are taken from the platforms' own published documentation and linked where relevant. Market rates are given as ranges, because they genuinely are ranges, and we would rather give you an honest spread than a false average. Where something is our judgement rather than a documented fact, it is written as our judgement.
