Privacy policy

The short version
This is a static website. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising trackers, and has no login, no comments and no newsletter. It does not collect your name, email or payment details, because it has no mechanism to. The only data leaving your browser goes to third parties you choose to click through to.
What we collect
Nothing you type, because there is nothing to type into. The site is served as pre-built static files by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard server request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — as an unavoidable part of delivering any web page, and to protect against attacks. We do not have access to an identifiable record of your individual visit.
Cookies
Quill & Coin sets no first-party cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies at the network level.
Affiliate links and third parties
Some outbound links are affiliate links, explained in full on our affiliate disclosure page. When you click one, you leave this site and arrive at the seller's website. That seller — currently WarriorPlus — will typically set a cookie recording that the referral came from us, so that a commission can be attributed if you buy. That cookie is set by them, on their domain, under their privacy policy, not ours. We receive only aggregate commission reporting: we cannot see who you are, what else you bought, or your payment details.
The same applies to any other external site linked from our guides. Once you follow a link, that site's privacy policy governs, not this one.
Analytics
The site currently runs no third-party analytics script. If that changes we will use a privacy-preserving, cookieless analytics provider and update this page and the date at the top before deploying it.
Children
This site is aimed at adults seeking income information and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection over personal data held about you. If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you rights to know and to delete, and a right to opt out of the sale of personal information — we do not sell personal information, and never have. Because we hold no personal data about you, most of these requests will be answered with confirmation that there is nothing on file. To exercise any of them, email hello@quillandcoin.com.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
